1 Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on State Highway 304 in Bastrop

Bastrop, Texas (February 15, 2018) – According to a local news source, a woman was killed in a car accident which left a man seriously injured in Bastrop on Tuesday afternoon.

The deadly collision occurred at about 3:44 p.m. February 13, at the intersection of Home Depot Way and SH 304.

The police said that a 59-year-old woman was driving her pickup truck southbound when she collided with a vehicle which was making a turn at the intersection.

Emergency crews who responded to the incident transported the woman to St. David’s Emergency Center-Bastrop where she succumbed to her injuries.

The 64-year-old male driver of the second vehicle was injured in the collision and was transported to a hospital in Austin.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
