4 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 87 in South Lubbock County

South Lubbock, Texas (February 26, 2018) – According to a local news source, four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in South Lubbock.

The accident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. February 26, at the intersection of U.S. 87 and E. FM 41.

According to a local news source, a silver pickup truck was traveling southbound on U.S. 87 when for unknown reasons, it collided with an SUV which was traveling eastbound on E. FM 41.

The female driver of the SUV and her two children sustained minor injuries and were all transported by EMS to Covenant Medical Center.

The driver of the pickup truck also sustained minor injuries and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
