Alejo Rojas Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Tompkins
El Paso, Texas (January 28, 2018) – A 60-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident in El Paso on Friday night, January 26, according to a local news source.
As per the report, the accident occurred at about 8 p.m.in the 4000 block of Tompkins.
Alejo Rojas was walking across Tompkins in a dimly-lit area when he was hit by a car.
Rojas sustained major injuries in the collision and was taken to UMC where he died while undergoing treatment.
No word regarding the involved motorist was provided.
The police said the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk when the accident occurred.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
