Benny Sandoval and Bryan Esparza Injured in El Paso 2-Car Accident on I-10
El Paso, Texas (January 30, 2018) – At least two people were injured in a traffic accident in West El Paso on Sunday, January 28.
According to a local news source, the two-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 10 at an unspecified time in the evening.
According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety Department, Benny Sandoval had been driving westbound when he crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer.
The 41-year-old driver and his passenger, Bryan Yosga Esparza were injured in the collision and were taken to University Medical Center for treatment. The severity of the injuries sustained by the two was not disclosed.
No word on the driver of the tractor-trailer was provided.
Preliminary investigation report indicates that Sandoval may have been evading the police when the accident occurred.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
