Dallas, TX: Woman Killed in 2-Car Crash at Central Expressway and Illinois Avenue

Dallas, Texas (January 27, 2018) – A woman was killed in a traffic accident involving a garbage truck in Dallas on Friday afternoon, January 26.

According to a local news report, the fatal car accident occurred in the area of South Central Expressway and East Illinois Avenue at about 12:48 p.m.

Dallas police and firefighters responding to the incident recovered two vehicles at the scene of the accident.

The woman was traveling in a car which rear-ended a garbage truck for unknown reasons.

Paramedics performed CPR on the woman before she was rushed to a nearby hospital. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.

No information on the condition of the truck driver was provided.
