Houston, Texas (February 2, 2018) – At least one person was killed in a collision involving two trucks in Houston on Thursday, February 1.

According to a local news report, the accident occurred at about 5:15 a.m. on Interstate 10 at Highway 6 near the Barker Cypress exit.

Houston Police reported that a truck had pulled over after it developed mechanical damage when it was struck by a second truck.

The driver of the second truck was killed in the collision.

The driver of the disabled truck had exited the vehicle before the accident and was unhurt.

The identity of the deceased was not disclosed.
