Kaylea Ward Killed in Fort Worth after 2-Vehicles Collision on South Freeway
Fort Worth, Texas (February 7, 2018) – The woman who died Monday evening in a two-vehicle collision has been identified as Kaylea Ward, 22, of Fort Worth, according to the authorities.
The deadly collision took place in the 6600 block Freeway around 6.35 p.m. Monday, February 5.
According to the police report, the two vehicles were both traveling southbound on 6600 block Freeway at the time of the collision.
Kaylea Ward, who was driving one of the cars, hit a guardrail and her vehicle spun until it faced sideways in the middle of the roadway. The other vehicle failed to stop in time and struck Ward’s vehicle. Ward was ejected from her car following the impact.
Authorities said Ward died at John Peter Smith hospital around 6:35 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5.
Police said no other injuries were reported and no charges have been filed.
The crash remains under investigation.
