Laurie Reynolds Killed in Head-On Collision in Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi, Texas (February 18, 2018) – A 29-year-old woman was killed in a fiery car accident in Corpus Christi on Friday morning, February 16.

The fatal car crash occurred in the 6500 block of Highway 37 near Clarkwood at about 12:48 p.m., according to a local news source.

Laurie Beth Reynolds was driving her car southbound when she collided head-on with a van which was being driven in the wrong direction.

The van caught fire after the collision.

Reynolds sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 30-year-old female driver of the van was pulled out of the burning van and transported to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline for treatment of minor injuries.

No other information was provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
