Harris County, Texas (February 16, 2018) – According to a local news source, a woman died after being struck by a vehicle in Harris County on Tuesday evening.

The 7:45 p.m. collision occurred in the 17200 block of Red Oak Drive.

The victim, Linda Rodriguez, was reportedly walking along the southbound lanes of the roadway when she was hit by a truck which drove away after hitting the woman.

A second vehicle is said to have also struck the woman. The vehicle also fled the scene of the accident.

Rodriguez, believed to be in her 30s, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was provided.
