Lucina Trevino Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on East Amarillo Boulevard
Amarillo, Texas (February 19, 2018) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident which left one other person injured in Amarillo on Sunday morning, February 18, according to a local news source.
According to a report by the authorities, the fatal accident occurred in the 2600 block of East Amarillo Boulevard at about 1:50 a.m.
The police said 43-year-old Jose Grado and 58-year-old Lucila Trevino, both residents of Friona, were walking in the area when they were hit by a car.
Trevino sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Grado was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
