1 Killed and 1 Injured in Galveston 2-Car Accident on Galveston Causeway
Galveston, Texas (February 13, 2018) – A man was killed in a traffic accident which left a woman injured in Galveston on Friday morning, February 9.
According to a local news article, the accident occurred at about 2:45 a.m. on Galveston Causeway.
The authorities said that a gray Honda Element and a red Toyota Corolla were involved in the collision.
Officials of the Galveston Fire Department who responded to the incident extricated a 21-year-old male driver of the Corolla who was trapped inside the vehicle.
The motorist, a resident of Houston, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. Sadly, the unidentified man died while undergoing treatment.
The 34-year-old female driver of the Honda, a resident of Alvin, was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
