North Austin, TX: Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on East Howard Lane

North Austin, Texas (January 27, 2018) – A man who was involved in a motorcycle accident in North Austin on Wednesday evening succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment, the police said.

The collision occurred at about 6:30 p.m. January 24, at 508 E. Howard Lane.

According to a local news report, a man was riding a black 2011 Harley Davidson and was exiting a private driveway when it crossed the path of an F-150 pickup truck.

The driver braked but was unable to avoid hitting the 54-year-old motorcyclist.

The rider sustained major injuries in the crash and was rushed to Round Rock Hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
