1 Killed in Pasadena 2-Car Accident at Allen Genoa and West Southmore
Pasadena, Texas (January 28, 2018) – A motorist was killed in an alleged hit-and-run collision in Pasadena on Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The fatal collision occurred at about 2 a.m. January 28, in the area of Allen Genoa and West Southmore.
According to a statement by the authorities, a 60-year-old man had been driving a Mitsubishi Mirage and was making a turn on West Southmore when his vehicle was struck by a suspected drunk driver.
The unidentified man was killed in the collision.
Meanwhile, the police arrested a 20-year-old Hispanic man in relation to the collision. The man is reported to have exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot but was chased down and apprehended by a witness.
The suspect faces multiple unspecified charges.
