Man Killed in Polk County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 146
Polk County, Texas (February 6, 2018) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Polk County on Monday, February 5, according to a local news source.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at about 3:50 a.m. on State Highway 146, south of Livingston.
According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, a man was walking on the roadway when he was hit by a southbound Chevrolet SUV operated by 42-year-old Joseph Foster.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately revealed.
The motorist was unhurt.
The incident is still under investigation.
