Motorcyclist Killed in Dallas Motorcycle Crash on North Central Expressway
Dallas, Texas(February 23, 2018) – According to a police report, one person died and another one was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Dallas early Sunday morning.
The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of North Central Expressway at Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 18.
A 25-year-old woman left her car in the middle lane of the expressway after she ran out of fuel. Moments later, a motorcycle hit the parked car from behind, according to the police report.
Authorities said the 34-year-old motorcycle rider and passenger were thrown off the bike as a result of the impact.
The motorcyclist died on scene while the critically injured passenger was taken to a hospital. The passenger was put in a medically induced coma.
The condition of the car driver was not immediately released.
Investigation of the crash was still underway.
