Rosa Reyes Killed, Two Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on U.S Highway 287

Moore County, Texas (Jan 29, 2018) – A 49-year-old woman was killed in a collision involving two vehicles Sunday evening in Moore County, authorities said.

The accident occurred at around 6:55 p.m. Jan 28, on U.S. Highway 287, one and a half miles south of Cactus, according to the authorities.

Rosa Reyes from of Etter was driving an Audi Q5 when she crashed into the rear of semi-trailer which was traveling in the same direction and had slowed down to take a turn, authorities affirmed.

The impact of the crash caused the Audi and the semi-trailer to catch fire.

Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people, 48-year-old Tracy Brown and his passenger, 53-year-old Lisa Brown, both from Copper Center, Ark, were transported to the hospital. They were treated for injuries and discharged.

The incident remained under investigation.
