Roseann Lucidi Dies after Multi-Vehicle Collision on U.S. Highway 190 in Copperas Cove

Copperas Cove, Texas (February 2, 2018) – A man who was injured in a traffic accident two weeks ago in Copperas Cove succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday, January 17, at about 4:50 p.m. on the U.S. Highway 190 bypass.

According to a local news report, Roseann Lucidi, 65, of Kempner was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound when he was hit by a Freightliner operated by Bryan Rhudy, 40, of Killeen.

The report indicated that the Freightliner had collided with a Nissan Altima operated by a 40-year-old Lampasas woman.

Lucidi was injured in the collision and was taken to Scott & White Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, January 30.

Rhudy was rushed to Seton Medical Center Harker Heights while the driver of the Altima was taken to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen for treatment.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
