Two Killed in Spring Branch Car Collision in Houston

Houston, Texas (February 23, 2018) – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle-accident on Tuesday night in Spring Branch.

According to the Houston Police Department, a Ford SUV, driven by a 51-year-old woman, was traveling eastbound on Westview at a high rate of speed about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday 20.

The woman ran a red traffic light and struck the side of a Chevrolet Cavalier and Nissan Altima heading northbound on Antoine.

The SUV driver died on scene.

The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were taken to hospital where the driver, a 25-year-old, succumbed to the injuries. The passenger was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Altima also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The police were yet to tell if alcohol contributed to the accident to happen.
