1 Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Collision at South Loop 289 at Indiana Avenue
Lubbock, Texas (February 20, 2018) – According to a local news source, a woman was injured in a suspected DUI collision in Lubbock on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. February 18, on South Loop 289 at Indiana Avenue.
The police said that the woman was driving her Ford westbound when she collided with an eastbound Jeep for unknown reasons.
The woman is said to have sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Her identity was not immediately established.
The Jeep driver, identified as 31-year-old Joshua Jones, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
